If you found our site because you’re considering placing your child for adoption, we can only imagine the emotions that come with trying to hand-pick the perfect couple to fill your child’s life with love, happiness, success, and all of the other wonderful things life has to offer.
While we may not be a perfect couple (actually I think that Katie is perfect – and you’ll probably agree if you meet her – how I got her to marry me is a complete mystery), we certainly want the perfect life for our children. With that in mind, there are a few things that we want for each of them. We want them to:
- Understand how deeply their biological parents love them, and that they want their child to experience every good thing in life
- Learn the importance of a family through the example of loving parents
- Develop an appreciation for the beautiful world we live in
- Discover and develop their unique talents and abilities
- Learn the importance of service and the true meaning of charity
- Learn how to work and develop sound financial habits
- Develop a knowledge of the unconditional love that God has for each of us
- Learn the gospel of Jesus Christ and develop a personal relationship with our Savior
Of course the list continues. Above all, we want our children to live their lives to the fullest – filling every day with love and happiness.
We certainly appreciate the selfless decision you are considering for your child.
